Economic Problems not addressed by Missouri Legislators

The Missouri State General Assembly failed the citizens of this State. In the last legislative session, which ended May 14th, 2011, the Senate and House Leaderships said they would concentrate their efforts on improving the State’s economic climate. They waited until the last few hours of the session before trying to forge an economic / jobs creation plan for the State. Things I want to do as your 139th State Representative:

July 22nd, 2010 · No Comments · My Plan of Action

1) Job Growth – As your 139th State Representative I will work to see that businesses have a reason to locate in the 139th.

2) Transportation – I will work to improve roadways and highways in the 139th. Good transportation for our area is one of the keystones to attracting jobs.

Schools are Critical to the Economic Health of Local Communities and the State

State funding for schools has been cut by over $650 million for this year, while tax credits continue to be pushed as the job making / saving knight in shining armor. Well, I believe the knight in shining armor is very tarnished.
